Let's make the right change
The anthem 4 peace says: We all deserve, peace on earth... Have you ever questioned how we are actually going about the task of creating a long and lasting peace?
All the marches in major cities made for a nice day out, but really changed nothing. STOP MARCHING - It doesn`t achieve anything and they`re not listening!
Our leaders are so wrapped up in being politically correct that the biggest decision they seem prepared to make is to agree sanctions on condition the Security Council goes along with it. The way wars are fought and more importantly where they are fought has changed dramatically in the last 20 years. If you don't already know; It's being fought on our doorstep!
There is no question that the world is at war! There is no question that it is a war between the west and Muslims. (Are we even allowed to say that?) Our law makers have not been able to adjust laws in view of the latest threats. Human rights activists are blocking common sense precautions at every opportunity. It seems that the world has been taken by surprise by recent events. And worst of all, there seems to be more concern for the human rights of terrorists than for our own safety.
PeaceAid has been initiated to look at the state we are in, and together with other official bodies help make the changes necessary to combat the ever growing threat found right on our doorstep. We are lobbying decision makers, in order to push harder to make the right changes. We all need to take part in the decission making process for the pursuit of lasting peace, our children will thank us for it. We also need to be asking some hard hitting questions:
- How many Muslims are aware of, if not directly involved in, terrorist cells operating locally?
- How much of the aid sent to countries harboring terrorists goes to feeding terrorists?
- What if extremist Muslims don't want peace?
- What do they really want? Because it certainly has nothing to do with religion!
- Are suicide bombers really just brainwashed?
- How can we detect early on who is involved in terror?
- Are our leaders simply naive and underestimate the magnitude of the situation.
- Are the security services underfunded and overwhelmed with the volume of information?
